CRASH UPDATE: Redby woman critically injured

ECKLES TOWNSHIP—A Redby woman was critically injured late Thursday night after she was struck by a passing car.

According to the report from the Minnesota State Patrol, 25-year-old Larissa Anne Oakgrove was walking in the right lane of Highway 2 East in Eckles township, when a Chevy Impala, driven by 37-year-old Eric Mitchell Tofte of Fargo, struck Oakgrove.

Oakgrove was transported to the Sanford Hospital in Fargo for treatment of her life threatening injuries. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, and the Beltrami County sheriff’s office assisted at the scene.
